Carmen is a Scottish artist who works in both the Abstract and Realistic in a variety of media including Acrylic, Watercolour and Printing.

An established artist, she is a Post-Graduate in Art from Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen. A former Lecturer in Printmaking, Gray's School of Art and Tutor at Peacock Printmakers, and former Council member of the Edinburgh Printmakers.

She is an Adult Education Tutor in Art and a professional member of the S.S.A.

Carmen has received a Scottish Arts Council Award, The Keith Prize at The Royal Scottish Academy and The Alexander Graham Munro Award at The Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour. She has had many one women exhibitions, and exhibits regularly in the RSA, the RGI, and the RSW. She has many works in both public and private collections.
